You asked for it, now you got it

I suppose this is a long time coming, the official blog of GracePoint Community Church. I used to think that blogs were only for dudes who lived in their mom's basements and were angry with most everything in the world. Good thing for you, I am only angry about some things and it will only seem like I am writing from my mom's basement.

This blog is primarily for our little church and communicating to everyone the things that are happening in our community we think are important. However, this blog is not private and many of the posts won't have to do with our little church. They will have to do with the big church and the big world; it is literally for everyone. Theology, politics, religion, culture. Everything will be fair game. But in the end, we understand that our mission is now virtual:

To live by FAITH in Jesus Christ
to be known by our LOVE for God and others
to offer HOPE to our world, one life at a time.

Our only hope is that Jesus is magnified not only by what the contributors write, but also by those who comment on the posts. Let's live out together what it means to be God-exalting disciples of Jesus as we represent GracePoint.
